NABA is pleased to launch the scholarship competition “What will I put in my baggage?” for the 2018 Summer Courses Edition.

NABA wants to motivate young international talents eager to undertake an intensive summer study experience in Milan, world capital of fashion and design, by offering 20 half scholarships (50% of the tuition fee) for one of NABA’s 2-week Summer Courses running through June-August 2018.


What will I put in my baggage?

You are ready to travel to a foreign country for a long stay. You want to live a new experience, mix up with a new exciting culture, meet new traditions and ways of life. Nevertheless, you still have some space in your baggage that you want to fit with something very important; something which represents your origin and identity. Something you will apply to every project you are going to develop.

What is it?

The applicants should submit a creative project in their chosen field, which includes something they can never leave at home. Something they will always merge with every new experience. A color, an object, a piece of fabric, a sound….

Interested candidates shall submit the following materials via e-mail to indicating in the subject “2018 Summer Courses Scholarship Competition – What will I put in my baggage?” by and not later than March 2nd 2018:

  • NABA Summer Courses Application Form 2018
  • The creative project on the Competition brief “What will I put in my baggage?”
  • Short description in English (max. 200 words) of the concept of the project highlighting reasons supporting their choices.

Candidates will be informed about the results of the competition via email by March 16th, 2018.
