NABA and Malìparmi participate to the 2014 Milan Design Week with the FAMILY DRESS, project of relational art exhibited to the public from the 8th to the 13th April.

Two different projects with similar objectives: creativity and re-use merge in the Malìparmi Memory Textile and meet the art of the Family Dress.

The Family Dress originates in 2007 from an idea of Nicoletta Morozzi, Advisory Leader of NABA Fashion Design, Lorenza Branzi, NABA professor, Fabrizio RibecchiAndrea CostaBarbara Riggio and Aldo Lanzini, Course Leader of NABA MA in Fashion&Textile Design with the aim of creating a work which fosters relationships among individuals.

Malìparmi decided to make the Family Dress even more rich and participant, by reusing patterns and materials which established the brand identity in the past collections.

On the 10th April in via Tortona 31, from 7pm until 11pm, Malìparmi invites to the improvisation of a performance that will involve the whole design community, the passers-by and the guests, aiming at creating new participative dynamics.

The exhibition during the Design Week is only the first one of a series that will follow.
