From July 20 to 23, it was held in Assisi the First Edition of UniversoAssisi – a festival in secret places with the artistic direction of Joseph Grima. The City of Assisi conceived and organized the event in collaboration with the Fondazione Internazionale Assisi. A multidisciplinary festival that can be shortened with the formula: secret places and big names. Musicians, actors, artists, poets, philosophers, architects and curators performed or led debates in fascinating and unusual places of the city.
On July 21, surrounded by the Colonnade of the Temple of Minerva, Italo Rota (scientific director of NABA) joined the festival as a lecturer. He held a public discussion in conversation with Carlo Antonelli (journalist and artistic director) and Gianluigi Ricuperati (writer, essayist and curator) about genres on the theme of multidisciplinary, and about how art, architecture, literature and other disciplines can contaminate each other.
An evening dedicated to the Fine Arts, where Italo succeeded in giving shape and content to his creative flair, rousing the public of the Umbrian city.
