A vibrant combination of lectures and off sites visits designed to explore the history of art form XX Century until today in the city of Milan, spanning from museum collections, to private foundations and international art galleries, such as the historical presentations at Museo del 900, the unique exhibitions Fondazione Prada and former Pirelli factory Hangar Bicocca with a permanent installation by Anselm Kiefer, with a few selected one day trip in the North of Italy. Participants will have time develop personal projects, form sketches to travelogues, moodboard and short critical essays.


This course is suitable for students with some background in art and for students who have completed one or two years of university studies in art and design.
