Two Years Master of Arts Degree Programmes

Academic Year 2024/2025

RESIDENT IN THE EU AND EFTA COUNTRIES

If the Student (and his/her family) has been resident in a country belonging to the European Union for at least 3 years and the income is produced within the European Union, the fee can be adjusted to the economic and asset conditions of the student’s original and de facto family.
Students who do not fulfill all the requirements or do no stick to the submission deadlines in order to access the reduced fee brackets, will be automatically assigned to the highest income bracket.
For more detailed information on the different income brackets, required documentation, assignment criteria and deadlines, please refer to the specific addendum to the application form, which are downloadable here below.
 

For students who enrol in one of the Master of Arts Degree – Academic Year 2024/25 the tuition fee per academic year amounts as follows:

For students who enrol in one of the Master of Arts Degree – Academic Year 2024/25 the tuition fee per academic year (corresponding to the 6th income bracket) amounts as follows:

SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL AID

NABA offers many scholarships to incoming students.

In order to attract talented international students and maintain our culturally diverse academic environment, we reserve a number of these scholarships for foreign students. Every year, special calls for scholarships are published for both Master of Arts and Academic Master’s programmes. The amounts and application requirements vary according to the call.

NABA SCHOLARSHIPS – PORTFOLIO-BASED

NABA supports highly motivated and innovative people by offering scholarships to the best profiles for the attendance of one of NABA Two-year Master of Arts or NABA one-year Academic Masters programmes. 

FINANCIAL AID

NABA offers financial aid, consisting of a partial reduction of the tuition fee, to deserving students who have financial constraints.

Requests will be evaluated based on the student’s academic merit combined with the student’s financial situation. In order to apply for financial aid, students must first meet enrollment requirements for their programme of interest. Students are requested to:

  • Fill in and sign the Financial Aid Application Form
  • Write an official letter specifying the reasons for their request.
  • Provide official documents proving their financial situation (e.g., income tax return, bank statements, pay stubs, etc.; documents must be submitted in English).

Requests will be reviewed by the Financial Aid Board at the end of each month. Students will receive an official communication from the NABA International Admissions Department informing them of the Board’s decision. 

FORMER NABA STUDENTS

Students who have earned a bachelor’s degree from NABA will enjoy a reduction of 20% on the total tuition fee except for the regional tax (tassa regionale per il diritto allo studio).

DSU SCHOLARSHIPS

Diritto allo Studio Universitario [DSU]   - Regional Law of Lombardy no. 33

The expression “Diritto allo Studio” includes all the actions taken by NABA to provide equal access to university studies as foreseen by the Lombardy regional law n. 33, December 13, 2004.

The benefits are awarded through a competition, held annually on the basis of specific financial and merit requirements.

DSU Call a.y. 2024/25

Application Requirements and Regulations for the a.y. 2024/25 scholarships will be published in July 2024.

Before submitting your application, please verify that you meet the general entry requirements (both merit and income*).

 

*The financial situation of foreign students with family living abroad without income and assets in Italy is assessed according to the ISEE (the reported equivalent financial situation indicator abroad), on income earned in 2022 and the value of movable and immovable assets owned as at 31st December 2022 by the student’s family.

 

NABA DSU Office will determine the equivalent ISEE for foreign students having family residing abroad without income and assets in Italy. No other ISEE indices calculated by other institutions will be accepted.

 

In order to do that, students must produce all the following documents:

 

  • Document certifying the updated composition of the family abroad dated 2024;
  • Income in the calendar year 2022 of each member of the family (the document must clearly state that the incomes relate to the calendar year 2022 (Salary slips are not required, the total income must be certified by the competent authorities in the Country (Ministry of Finance or another institution such as the Tax Administration Office).

If, during 2022, one or more family members of 18 years of age or over, did not earn any income, the same is nevertheless required to submit a declaration to that effect;

  • Buildings owned by the family as at 31.12.2022 (the document must be issued by a public authority that can provide the situation at the national level), with an indication of square meters. If in 2022 there were no buildings, a certificate must be submitted certifying the absence of ownership of buildings for each member of 18 years of age or over;
  • For Properties in Bulgaria: Due to the fact that the documentation is issued by the Province Land Registry and not by the National one, for each person of the family nucleus aged over 18 documentation issued by IKAR concerning the history of movements at national level up to December 2022 must be submitted additionally.
  • Certification of non-property assets owned as at 31.12.2022 by the family:

-          balance of bank and/or deposit accounts;

-          account balance of shares, dividends, shareholdings, capitalization policies any other type of financial investment.

 

These documents must be according to Regulations:

 

  • Issued by the competent authorities of the Country in which the income was produced;
  • Translated into Italian conforming to the foreign text and certified by the competent diplomatic or consular representation, or by an official translator;
  • Legalized by the Italian diplomatic or consular representations abroad with the only exception of documents relating to movable assets owned. The documents’ legalization happens in different ways, according to the origin countries (annex A).

 

Foreign students are nevertheless required to declare the presence of any income and assets held in Italy by their family.

 

Self-certifications are not in line with the DSU Regulations and therefore are not accepted.
