Marco Scotini, head of NABA’s Visual Arts Department, was announced as the curator for the upcoming second edition of the Yinchuan Biennale, which will take place at the Museum of Contemporary Art Yinchuan in China. The announcement was made by Suchen Hsieh director of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the city that represents a lively and avant-garde centre, in particular, in the field of smart technologies.

The second edition will take place from June to September 2018. The exhibition will involve 15,000 square meters of museum space and other art settlements, including Hui Nongqu Eco-park and the International Artist Village of the River Origins. Yinchuan Biennale has been focusing on both the ecology issues and cultural crossroad between East and West, topics that Marco Scotini has already seen in his extensive international experience in the curatorial field and his particular research on these specific topics.
