NABA students of the BA in Fashion Design: Rango, Giulia Masciangelo, Monica Gesualdo, Matteo De Toma and Giuseppe Casafina were selected by Clara Tosi Pamphili and Alessio de’Navasques for the latest edition of A.I. Artisanal Intelligence 50YEARSLATER. The exhibition took place at the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome, on January 25th and 26th, 2018 during the AltaRoma event.

The themes aimed to visualize new rebellious vanity, utopia, counter-culture, sexuality, recycling, ecology, experimentation, metropolitan nomadism, disobedience and the transformation of clothing and the body. The exhibition, focusing on the artistic aspects of fashion, featured creations by young fashion designers, posing as demonstrators. They were seen as protesters, presenting specific themes epitomizing ‘rebellious vanity’ and the contemporary condition of today’s youth, which differs widely from that of fifty years ago, when creativity was used as a form of protest.
