On Wednesday, June 11th, NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti Milano – will host Franco La Cecla: the well known Sicilian anthropologist and architect will present his new book, FALSOMIELE. Il diavolo, Palermo (:duepunti edizioni).

The curious debut of Franco La Cecla as a novelist originates from the recollection and the reworking of the immense patrimony made up of places, journeys and passions which characterized his studies; Caruso, hero and victim of this “anthropological” novel travels in time with his memories and receives the gift of ubiquity from a devil that is more similar to a manager than to a merchant of souls.

During the performance the author will speak about his book through the reading of 6 extracts.

Franco La Cecla is NABA teacher; he holds the course of Antropologia Visuale e Teoria e Metodo dei Mass Media addressed to the MA in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies students.
