Amos Bianchi

Course Leader, MA in Communication Design

Amos Bianchi (Como 1975). He graduated in Philosophy and he attended a master in Communication both at Università Statale degli Studi, Milano, and he got a certificate program in History and Philosophy at Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Milano. In 2017 he obtained a PhD in Media Studies at the University of Plymouth (UK).

After some experience in the world of digital publishing, he started working at NABA in 2001, where he currently teaches Aesthetics and History of Cinema. At the same institution, he has been coordinator of the Media Design Program and Postgraduate Institute. For four years he has held the position of Head of Program Development at NABA and Domus Academy. He also taught at IED, at the University of Pavia, the Art Institutes Consortium, and Formaper.

He edited together with Giovanni Leghissa the book Mondi Altri (Mimesis 2016) and wrote several articles on academic journals in English language. His main field of research is Michel Foucault's thought. He loves thrillers and spy stories.
